Numicon Homework Activities

The Numicon Homework Activities are designed to enable children to practice what they are learning at school through playful games and activities. Parents and caregivers are not expected to 'teach' their children, but love to participate with them!

Activities covered: Counting, knowledge of addition and subtraction facts, understanding of place value, and recognition of the inverse relationship of addition and subtraction.

The Homework Activities are supplied on a CD making the printing off and administration easy for a teacher and school to manage.

There is a comprehensive guide for teachers to be able to easily select the appropriate activities for their students to do at home. Each activity is accompanied with an instruction sheet easy to follow suitable for all parents including those whose first language may not be English. The CD has 43 activities, comprehensive advice for teachers, feedback forms for parents, record sheets for teachers, and an introduction and information for parents.

The Maths Bag contains all the resources needed to use with the printed activities.  One bag is supplied with this CD. They can also be purchased separately (HWRECC) for each child as the school and families see fit. Each bag contains:
