Kit Two- Group - Numicon New Zealand

The Kit 2 teaching programme builds on ideas met in Kit 1. Multiplication and division,and fractions are covered at this level. Equivalent to Level 2 of the NZ curriculum.

Arithmetic covered in this pack are addition and subtraction to 100; place value; multiplication; division and fractions. The teaching activities are shown on 42 illustrated cards, key mathematical ideas are explained in the Teachers Book which also includes an Assessment Signposts and Record of Progress Booklet. Suitable for pupils working at English National Curriculum levels 2 and 3. A helpful Getting Started Guide is included.

New users should be familiarised with Numicon Shapes and Cuisenaire Rods before starting the teaching activities in this Kit.
