One-to-one Kits - Numicon New Zealand

Numicon Single User Kits have been specifically designed for one to one or small group support teaching, containing smaller quantities of plastic materials than class kits, they are packed in a sturdy plastic tray for storage and portability. Users can build the full Numicon teaching programme by adding Numicon Plus Packs to a Foundation Kit and/or Kit 1.

Numicon’s strong visual imagery with emphasis on pattern, multi-sensory approach and 'small steps' teaching programme is proving successful for pupils of all ages with many different special needs including those with language delay, sensory impairment, Down syndrome, dyslexia and autism.

Please note: Assembled kits cost less than the sum of the parts, however we can also mix and match to make up kits to suit particular individual requirements.

The teaching programme is designed to be followed step by step and is shown on illustrated easy-to-follow Activity Cards.

The cards are accompanied by an Activity Card Index, Activity Card Summary, Order for Teaching the Activities, Photocopy Masters used in some of the activities, and a Teaching Guide explaining the key mathematical ideas. Kits 1 and 2 also include an Assessment Booklet.
