What to Buy

Types of Kits:

There are several several kits in the Numicon product range to meet different needs:

Please note:

Group Kits are intended for groups of 5-6 children in the classroom

One-to-one Kits are intended for individual children 


Bag of shapes. With one bag per student this resource is beneficial with class lessons using the interactive whiteboard software.   

    Kits can also be converted to the next level as children progress through the programme with Conversion Kits which contain the teaching manual and new equipment that will be needed.

    All components are also available separately and are listed under Accessories where you will also find other Numicon products not included in the Kits.

    Software to use with Interactive Whiteboards and individual's computers (for students with special needs) is available as Single-user and Multi-user licences.

    A class set for New Entrants and Early Learning

    • Firm Foundations group Kit

    Some students will progress through the Foundation level in a few months and move onto Kit One. Others may take longer and children with learning difficulties will learn best with Closing the Gap- a slower-paced and detailed programme. They will take longer- 2 years- depending on the child.
