Please read the following information carefully. Your purchase of Numicon products implies that you agree with and accept the information below.

Payment 
We offer two options for making payment:

 1. Payment with a cheque 

New Zealand customers- make your cheque payable to Procon Limited and post to P O Box 128542 Remuera, Auckland 1541, New Zealand, or deposit into a branch of the ASB

Australian customers- we would be so thankful for you to deposit your cheque, payable to Procon Limited, at any Commonwealth Branch with your invoice number as the reference.  Otherwise post your cheque to the address above

2.  On line Bank Transfer 

After placing your order, you will receive an email with our account details. Please make sure that you include your invoice details when making online payments so that we can link your payment to your order.

Overdue invoices do incurr a 20% fee

Delivery cost and times

We strive to keep our delivery costs as low as possible. The delivery fee also covers our warehousing, handling and packaging, and is dependent on weight and size of the packaged items. All orders are sent via courier.

New Zealand:

Courier- NZ North Island: $11.00 -18.00  South Island $16 -$25.00

All parcels sent by our courier service are signature only. If nobody is at the delivery address to receive the parcel, a card will be left advising you how to contact the courier to arrange a suitable delivery time.  You may leave a note at checkout with specific delivery instructions, eg "Leave parcel in letterbox".

Please note that if you enter the incorrect or incomplete address you will be asked to cover all return costs and re-delivery costs.

Delivery times

All in-stock items will be dispatched within 1 business day following payment in cleared funds. Payment by online banking cannot be checked until the next business day.  Schools- payment is required by the 20th of the month which is usual business practice.

If you have not received the parcel within 5 business days, please contact us so we can follow it up. We do our best to ensure that you receive your parcels as soon as possible.

Out of stock items are placed on Back Order and you will be notified and advised of expected waiting time before delivery. 

If you are requiring a large number of items, these may have to be imported specifically for you.  We encourage early ordering allowing time before they are needed.  Please do not hesitate to discuss this with us.

Returns policy
If your purchase is not exactly what you wanted...

A full refund will be provided for any goods returned to our warehouse unopened, and in their original packaging and condition within 21 days of original invoicing. Please include a note as to why goods are being returned, as well as the original invoice and state whether the product is to be exchanged or if you would prefer credit. Freight expenses in both directions are not refundable.


Have you received faulty or damaged goods?

If goods you receive are faulty, we will replace the item or refund the purchase price if received by our warehouse within 21 days of purchase. Reimbursement for shipping expenses will be up to the value of the original quoted freight cost. Please email us with details of the damage/fault.

Are all products in stock?

Generally, we keep all our lines well stocked. In the event that we temporarily run out of a particular product, we will notify you when you place your order. Out of stock items are placed on Back Order and you will be notified and advised of expected waiting time before delivery.

Out of stock products should be available from between a week- a month of placing an order. You will be sent an email with the expected time of arrival of the product.

If you are requiring a large number of items, these may have to be imported specifically for you.  We encourage early ordering allowing time before they are needed.  Please do not hesitate to discuss this with us.

Our items are imported from the UK by sea and air.

Discounts

We offer discounts for parents and Speld Tutors. Please contact us for details

If you are a school placing a bulk order please contact us for a discount that is commensurate with the size of the order.

If you are a SPELD tutor, type SPELD into the 'redeem voucher' box at the checkout.

If you are a parent please type in PARENT to receive the discount of 12.5%

Gift Vouchers

Would you like to give a gift to someone but not sure what to get? A NUMICON Voucher is an easy solution. Purchase vouchers as you would purchase any other item on this website. They are available here in multiples of $10 or $25. A gift voucher with a unique code will be sent to you. Please contact us

Numicon Credit

You may have received a Numicon Credit voucher for one of the following reasons:
- you have returned an item and are not sure what to exchange it for (please check the expirey date!)
- you have overpaid for something (incorrect keying when making payment or overpaid for shipping)

How to redeem your Gift Voucher or NUMICON Credit

  • Add products to your shopping basket as usual.
  • On the Order Confirmation page, type your unique code in the "Redeem voucher or promotional code" box. Click "Redeem". You will find that the credit/gift voucher amount has been deducted from the total.
  • Enter your address details and continue as usual through the payment options and click "Submit Order".

Payment in instalments

Families may wish to contact us to discuss the option of payment over a period of time that is acceptable to both parties.  No discount applies to this type of purchase to cover the extra accounting and setting up of the arrangement.

Charity funding options

Many charities in both NZ and Australia have contributed to the part or whole payment of a Numicon kit. Common charities are McKenzie trust, Rotary, Lions, Variety. A Christchurch trust to contact is Hyam Marks Phone 03 3662203.

We welcome your orders, but request that you join our opt-in mailing list to receive newsletters from time to time to learn of training and products.

Gift purchases

You are able to send any Numicon product as a gift by providing the billing address and a different mailing address anywhere in New Zealand. Please draw our attention that this is a gift in the comments box when placing your order. We will not place the invoice in the box!

Privacy Policy

The privacy of your customer data, orders and payments are important to us. We assure you that we will not disclose or sell your customer data to any third party. Staying in touch

From time to time we do send out newsletters informing you of training workshops, new products, specials and information that will support you in using Numicon.

We do appreciate it when you notify us of your change of email address, especially if you are representing a school or organisation and using your exclusive email address.

For teachers: When you leave the school, please notify us of the new email addresses so that we can stay in touch with the school and also with you!
