Early Childhood

In the UK, the 'Nursery' is the name given to Early Childhood education centres.

Programmes from Numicon which refer to "Nursery", apply to early learning for children aged 1-5 in New Zealand and Australia.

These programmes are:

• 1st Steps with Numicon in the Nursery and Numicon at the Seaside.
• 1st Steps with Numicon at Home and Numicon at the Seaside at Home.
• Firm Foundations and Closing the Gap along with Software, Bags of shapes, Maths Bags and a training DVD make this a truly multi-sensory programme.

Numicon in the Garden will be released later this year.

Music, dance, water play, sand play, role play, construction activities, play dough, fun and interactive games- rich, rich, rich learning!

Language, exploration, self-discovery, connected and purposeful learning, discussion and trial; all aspects of a healthy preschool programme. Piaget would have loved learning here!
